Tempered Glass Sheds:
The main body, heat-treated for high strength and insulation.
The shed design increases creepage distance, preventing pollution and rain flashovers.
Metal Fittings (Cap & Pin):
Usually made of galvanized steel or aluminum, connecting conductors to towers.
Cemented or crimped to ensure mechanical strength.
Sealing Material (e.g., Silicone Rubber):
Prevents moisture ingress, enhancing weather resistance.
High Insulation Strength: Breakdown voltage exceeds 100 kV, suitable for high-voltage transmission (10 kV-1000 kV).
